The Cariddi Rosso IGP from Cantine Colosi is an intense red wine with a strong character, made from a blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Nerello Mascalese, grown on clayey soils in the areas of Riesi and Mazara, Sicily.
It presents an elegant, intense ruby red color. The nose offers an intense and fruity bouquet, with hints of ripe red fruits such as blackberries and strawberries, enriched by delicate herbal and spicy notes.
On the palate, it is structured and persistent, with soft and elegant tannins, in perfect balance between softness, body, and savoriness. The alcohol content of 13.5% vol makes it versatile, ideal for accompanying robust dishes.
It is recommended to serve it at 16–18 °C. This wine from the Cariddi line pairs best with red meats, roasts, aged cheeses, cured meats, and savory dishes, perfect for a convivial dinner or a rustic and genuine meal.
