Eucalyptus Honey
Awarded Two Golden Drops at the 2020 competition for the selection of great national honeys , Mieli Siciliani 's Eucalyptus Honey is a monofloral honey produced in the municipality of San Cataldo (CL), where the vast Mustigarufi forest extends, a forest complex covering over 3,100 hectares, mostly planted with eucalyptus . It has a strong and robust flavor, with mentholated, resinous, and woody notes and a slightly bitter aftertaste. Its balsamic aroma makes it perfect for hot drinks such as tea and herbal teas, or for recipes that require a strong flavor.
Mieli Siciliani di Antonio Cautela, located in Tripi (Messina), has been producing honey and beehive products for 17 years. With around 500 hives, Antonio offers a wide range of monofloral honeys, such as thistle, citrus, honeydew, chestnut, eucalyptus and many others. The company has received several national awards for the quality of its products.
