Sulla Honey
Awarded a Golden Drop at the 2022 competition for the selection of great national honeys , Mieli Siciliani 's Sulla Honey is harvested in the vast hilly areas between the provinces of Trapani and Palermo, in towns such as Gangi, Tremonzelli Rosa, Gabbietello, and Gibellina, areas located at an altitude of between 800 and 1,000 meters above sea level. It is a delicate and fragrant honey, produced by bees that collect the nectar of Sulla, a leguminous plant typical of the Mediterranean region. Light in color, almost transparent, and with a smooth consistency, this honey has a sweet and floral flavor, with a delicate, herbaceous aftertaste that makes it unique. It is prized for its finesse and lightness, and is particularly suitable for those who prefer a honey with a delicate, unobtrusive flavor. Perfect for sweetening drinks, yogurt, or simply enjoying by the spoonful.
