Vetch Honey
Vetch Honey by Mieli Siciliani is produced in the pristine woods of Tripi , in the Nebrodi mountains. This monofloral vetch honey comes from a spontaneous flowering of Vicia spp. , a wild legume that blooms between May and June. With a light amber color and a soft consistency , it crystallizes finely over time, remaining pleasantly spreadable. The aroma is delicate, with notes of flowers and fresh herbs, while on the palate it offers a balanced sweetness with a herbaceous and velvety aftertaste . Excellent for breakfast, on bread and fresh cheeses , it is also perfect for herbal teas, yogurt and rustic desserts. A rare, elegant and authentic honey, an expression of a wild and uncontaminated territory.
